In the 15th minute of the match, Luisão Severo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emílio Vasconcelos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alberto Abraão 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Emílio Vasconcelos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Tenha Dó Dó Dó from getting a goal against them. Tirense F.C.'s Dida Vidal shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Emílio Vasconcelos but with some difficulty. After 31 played minutes Tenha Dó Dó Dó got a freekick which was hit by Federico Valverde. Emílio Vasconcelos made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Gilberto Garcia sent off a good shot on target. After 48 played minutes, Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Federico Valverde shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Enéas Arruda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tenha Dó Dó Dó reached it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilberto Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Emílio Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willian Cunha in the 58th minute of play. Emílio Vasconcelos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Garcia's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Tenha Dó Dó Dó's goal looked a bit too open when Willian Cunha came free, but Emílio Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emílio Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willian Cunha in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute Gilberto Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Vasconcelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86th play minutes Alessandro Crea shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Enéas Arruda and just under the crossbar into goal. After 90 played minutes Tirense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Valdo Ferreira. Federico Valverde took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enéas Arruda. Tirense F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 91 played minutes Tirense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luisão Severo. In the 97th minute, Gilberto Garcia made a precise shot to the right of Emílio Vasconcelos. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2.
