Paulão Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson dos Santos in the 5th minute of play. Paulão Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizão Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Alan Dias lost his temper 7 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 7th minute, one of SE Palestra Itália:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SE Palestra Itália. Paulão Penha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wanderson dos Santos in the 12th minute. Dráuzio Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Wanderson dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulão Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wanderson dos Santos scored 2-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulão Penha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Oséias de Castro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paulão Penha, 3-0. Luizão Brasil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Paulão Penha made a huge save. After 35 played minutes Mukifus FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Antônio Carlos Tróia. Paulão Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wanderson dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Kaká Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Mukifus FSCMZ getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. João Lendaa hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dráuzio Ramos during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes SE Palestra Itália got a freekick which was hit by Dráuzio Ramos. A collision led to SE Palestra Itália getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Vinícius Freitas hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Oséias de Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Wanderson dos Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulão Penha was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséias de Castro in the 64th minute of play forced SE Palestra Itália's goalkeeper Paulão Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulão Penha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 78th match minute, SE Palestra Itália was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinícius Freitas to maneuver through the defense. Paulão Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wanderson dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wanderson dos Santos in the 81st minute of play forced SE Palestra Itália's goalkeeper Paulão Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vinícius Freitas fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SE Palestra Itália's protests and gave Vinícius Freitas a yellow card for diving instead. Zé Lendaa missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 88 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Paulão Penha right hand side. Paulão Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson dos Santos in the 93rd minute of play. Paulão Penha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wanderson dos Santos's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. 97 minutes into the match, SE Palestra Itália's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias de Castro came free, but Paulão Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Mukifus FSCMZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
