Barbie Doll United U23's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Nildo Pereira scored to the left of an out of position Frederico de Salles, making the score, 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, COURO COME FC's Benê Alvarenga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederico de Salles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alan Gaúcho hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Barbie Doll United U23's Frederico de Salles got control of the ball when Christian Botelho tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Botelho during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Barbie Doll United U23's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nildo Pereira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. A collision led to Barbie Doll United U23 getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Pedrão Arce hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Gaúcho in the 45th minute of play forced COURO COME FC's goalkeeper José Maria Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the COURO COME FC defense, Pedrão Arce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Maria Pontes. The COURO COME FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Maria Pontes should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nildo Pereira to make the kick off. Frederico de Salles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nildo Pereira's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the game, Pedrão Arce cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. José Maria Pontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wilian Carioca scored 4-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frederico de Salles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. José Maria Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrão Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Pedrão Arce could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which José Maria Pontes however easily saved by the left post. Frederico de Salles came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by COURO COME FC's Nildo Pereira. But to his dismay, Nildo Pereira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. COURO COME FC's Gerd Aschemann was substituted for Christian Botelho. Silvério Netto was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Pedrão Arce hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After 87 played minutes, COURO COME FC's Benê Alvarenga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Frederico de Salles came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in COURO COME FC reached it. After 89 played minutes Barbie Doll United U23 got a freekick which was hit by Renan de Andrade. After a rather tough play, COURO COME FC's Dieguinho Silveira got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedrão Arce got free with José Maria Pontes in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. COURO COME FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
