After 23 minutes, Ernani Linares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dragões Barbudos FC and the Pindorama players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd minute Douglas Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Sílvio Leal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vicente Fantini, 0-7. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Fantini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over Pindorama could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dragões Barbudos FC throughout the match.
