After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Mané Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samurai Champions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mané Catarinense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franklin Maia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maicon Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Franklin Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Catarinense in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to Samurai Champions FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Davi Loureiro hit a great ball. Franklin Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Mané Catarinense took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franklin Maia. Franklin Maia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Daniel Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Oswaldo Coutinho came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Ekzema F.V. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oswaldo Coutinho couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Ekzema F.V. getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Fernando Batista hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan Sena in the 31st minute of play forced Ekzema F.V.'s goalkeeper Franklin Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Samurai Champions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauã Arantes to maneuver through the defense. João Pedro da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Alexsandro Netto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabinho Sarmento went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Oswaldo Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Alexsandro Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Fabinho Sarmento had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauro Silva during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ekzema F.V. getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Maicon Linhares hit a great ball. Ekzema F.V. were furious when Márcio de Mendonça was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ekzema F.V. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Franklin Maia, was totally fooled by Samurai Champions FC's Renan Sena, who 49 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mané Catarinense to strike the kick off in the second half. Franklin Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renan Sena in the 58th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Fred Vianna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ekzema F.V. and the Samurai Champions FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ekzema F.V. getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Fred Vianna hit a great ball. The supporters of Samurai Champions FC booed when Ekzema F.V. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ekzema F.V.'s Franklin Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeferson Amaral in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Maicon Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franklin Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Amaral in the 74th minute of play. Franklin Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Franklin Maia came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Samurai Champions FC's Mané Catarinense. But to his dismay, Mané Catarinense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Renan Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Franklin Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franklin Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renan Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franklin Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan Sena in the 92nd minute of the match. After 94 minutes of play, Samurai Champions FC's Mané Catarinense made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franklin Maia was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Samurai Champions FC were the better team. Samurai Champions FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
