Nando Custódio hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Ernani Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Catarinense in the 10th minute of play. Ernani Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Inter de Melão's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Catarinense came free, but Ernani Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes, Jeferson Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Samurai Champions FC and the Inter de Melão players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Inter de Melão booed when Samurai Champions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeferson Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 played minutes Inter de Melão got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Nascimento. In the 35th match minute, Inter de Melão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elivélton Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. During the 40th minute of the match Jeferson Amaral completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jeferson Amaral a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Samurai Champions FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jeferson Amaral hit a great ball. Inter de Melão's Wiliam Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Inter de Melão's Elivélton Alcântara got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mané Catarinense made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Renan Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samurai Champions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Renan Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernani Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 52 minutes into the game, Renan Sena recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ernani Dias. Renan Sena showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. A collision led to Inter de Melão getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Elivélton Alcântara hit a great ball. Ernani Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Samurai Champions FC's Mané Catarinense got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Elivélton Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Rubens Massa got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 70th minute, Luiz Fábio Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Netto having to interfere. If Murilo Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Renan Sena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernani Dias was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Ciro Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexsandro Netto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. The supporters of Inter de Melão booed when Samurai Champions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernani Dias made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Renan Sena sent off a good shot on target. Samurai Champions FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
