The supporters of Lindner F.C booed when Ekzema F.V. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuca Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ekzema F.V.'s Sílvio Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto Teles in the 5th minute of play. Samuca Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Samuca Tróia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chico Maciel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 12th match minute, Ekzema F.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuca Tróia to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Afonsinho Donatello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afonsinho Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Afonsinho Donatello came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sílvio Cordeiro could save by the left post. Chico Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuca Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuca Tróia in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chico Maciel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guto Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Samuca Tróia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lindner F.C's Chico Maciel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilmar de Castro in the 32nd minute of play forced Ekzema F.V.'s goalkeeper Sílvio Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, Ekzema F.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuca Tróia to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Lindner F.C's Dedê Meireles got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 46 played minutes, Ekzema F.V.'s Afonsinho Valladares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chico Maciel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ekzema F.V. reached it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Afonsinho Donatello to strike the kick off in the second half. Samuca Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Chico Maciel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, Lindner F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Teles to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuca Tróia got free with Chico Maciel in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the game, Pedrinho Oliveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lindner F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ekzema F.V. the free kick. After 62 played minutes Ekzema F.V. got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Bueno. A collision led to Lindner F.C getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Beto Arósio hit a great ball. Guto Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ekzema F.V. getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Márcio de Mendonça hit a great ball. When Guto Teles came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Lindner F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guto Teles couldn't finish the play. Samuca Tróia succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 82nd playminute.
