The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gilson de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonsinho Duarte in the 6th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Chinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corryn Bolt to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieguinho Massa in the 12th minute of play forced Chinho FC's goalkeeper Gilson de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Dieguinho Massa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilson de Alcântara. Chinho FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dieguinho Massa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieguinho Massa in the 17th minute of play forced Chinho FC's goalkeeper Gilson de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Chinho FC's João Paulo Borges seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed João Paulo Borges the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Chinho FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and João Paulo Borges had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Chinho FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. João Paulo Borges hit a great ball. Chinho FC's Gilson de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Abreu in the 20th minute of play. After 26 minutes of play, TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Francisco de Carvalho made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilson de Alcântara was left in no man's land by his defense there! Allan Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Gilson de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Germano Custódio during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Germano Custódio hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's goalkeeper Vicente Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chinho FC's Gilson de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieguinho Massa in the 37th minute of play. Gilson de Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dieguinho Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute Mauro Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilson de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Dieguinho Massa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilson de Alcântara was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Gilson de Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half TRICOSHOW F.CLUB were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Dieguinho Massa made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Dieguinho Massa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilson de Alcântara. The goal made the score 0-3. 59 minutes into the match, Chinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dieguinho Massa came free, but Gilson de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 played minutes Chinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Corryn Bolt. Celsinho Siqueira hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paraense came free, but Vicente Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Germano Custódio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilson de Alcântara was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After 84 played minutes TRICOSHOW F.CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Afonsinho Duarte. Gilson de Alcântara was a little too slow when Dieguinho Massa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-6. Chinho FC's Gilson de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieguinho Massa in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute Allan Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilson de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Chinho FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
