In the 15th minute Arthur Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio Domingues in the 16th minute of play forced New Miran FC's goalkeeper Caco Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 played minutes Unidade Pinto Louco got a freekick which was hit by Acácio Domingues. 20 minutes into the match, Natã Corrêa notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Unidade Pinto Louco's Dalmo Félix. Dalmo Félix was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 26 minutes, Laerte Freitas mouthed his way into the referee's book. In the 42nd minute Edgard Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Marques having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arthur Barral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Caco Marques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Acácio Domingues in the 55th minute. After 58 played minutes New Miran FC got a freekick which was hit by Natã Corrêa. In the 59th minute, Natã Corrêa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Acácio Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unidade Pinto Louco's supporters rose to their feet, but Acácio Domingues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caco Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Unidade Pinto Louco's Gabriel Donato got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felippe Catarinense charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felippe Catarinense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to New Miran FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Felippe Catarinense hit a great ball. Rogério Fontes's late challenge caught a New Miran FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rogério Fontes helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes Unidade Pinto Louco got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Fontes. Dalmo Félix didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when New Miran FC's Artur Mineiro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. New Miran FC's Caco Marques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save New Miran FC from getting a goal against them. Edgard Leme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Caco Marques made a huge save. Dalmo Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Mineiro in the 83rd minute of the match.
