The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- booed when AF CERRADO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute Joaquim Donatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Augusto de Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Didi Gaúcho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Douglas Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Goiano in the 9th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Amadeu Prado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Augusto de Godoi. AF CERRADO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amadeu Prado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. AF CERRADO's José Augusto de Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save AF CERRADO from getting a goal against them. Douglas Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Dagoberto Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Renatinho Leal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AF CERRADO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- the free kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Donatello made a kick off. Kaká Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Tasso having to interfere. Douglas Tasso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kaká Goiano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 59 minute of play. Ian Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Didi Gaúcho charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Didi Gaúcho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Didi Gaúcho hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match.
