Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Joinville Esporte Clube's Wellington Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Mineiro in the 4th minute of play. New Miran FC's Márcio Mendes pulled a muscle in his back after 4 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 4 minutes into the game, Fausto Aguiar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joinville Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Miran FC the free kick. A collision led to Joinville Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Fausto Aguiar hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Joinville Esporte Clube's Geovanni Leite got a free kick in the 8th minute. New Miran FC's Caco Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Aguiar in the 14th minute of play. When Joinville Esporte Clube's Deivid Vaz in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye New Miran FC's goalie prevented a goal. Caco Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid Vaz in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Hélio Furtado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joinville Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Miran FC the free kick. Wellington Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moisés Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 32nd minute of the match, Artur Mineiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wellington Montenegro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deivid Vaz in the 33rd minute of play forced New Miran FC's goalkeeper Caco Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, New Miran FC's Wellington Montenegro threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hermínio Damião, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Geovanni Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Caco Marques came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Joinville Esporte Clube's André Luiz Esteves. But to his dismay, André Luiz Esteves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fausto Aguiar got his second yellow card in the match during the 45th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 46th minute, Fausto Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lúcio Leal made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in New Miran FC's zone, André Luiz Esteves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caco Marques came out of the goal and André Luiz Esteves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Joinville Esporte Clube booed when New Miran FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonçalo Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to New Miran FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Natã Corrêa hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Deivid Vaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, New Miran FC's goalkeeper Caco Marques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Luiz Esteves. Caco Marques had great luck who in the 64thth minute grab hold of the ball when André Luiz Esteves from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 66 minutes New Miran FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hélio Furtado who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, New Miran FC's Caco Marques got control of the ball when Gonçalo Catarinense tried to sneak it across the goal line. With 70 minutes on the clock, Nelson Eger commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave New Miran FC a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Laerte Freitas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Joinville Esporte Clube's Wellington Montenegro. 1-1. In the 89th minute, Moisés Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deivid Vaz in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caco Marques saved New Miran FC from getting behind. 94 minutes into the match, Joinville Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Paraíba came free, but Wellington Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
