The referee ignored Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's protests and gave Gabriel Maranhense a yellow card for diving instead. Gabriel Maranhense hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Gil Paraíba hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Acácio Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Acácio Sergipano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Blumenau Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Vivaldo Paraíba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Acácio Sergipano. After 26 minutes, Délio Gerber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blumenau Esporte Clube and the Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes Blumenau Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Délio Gerber. Amauri Barbosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vivaldo Paraíba having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Meireles in the 33rd minute of play forced Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's goalkeeper Cristiano Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Maranhense hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's Cristiano Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Arantes in the 38th minute of play. Cristiano Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Délio Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Vivaldo Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Blumenau Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre de Lara came free, but Vivaldo Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vivaldo Paraíba was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Alexandre de Lara capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alexandre de Lara really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Amauri Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's supporters rose to their feet, but Amauri Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vivaldo Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Délio Gerber made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Alexandre de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre de Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vivaldo Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Amauri Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th match minute, Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademar Abraão to maneuver through the defense. Vivaldo Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amauri Barbosa in the 62nd minute of play. Tiago Dionísio hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Alexandre de Lara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. A collision led to Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Claudinei Almeida hit a great ball. Gil Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Ademar Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivaldo Paraíba having to interfere. Vivaldo Paraíba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandre de Lara went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Gil Paraíba got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 93 played minutes Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ got a freekick which was hit by Maurinho Porto. Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
