Célio Machado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Vergílio in the 26th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edvaldo Leal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amauri Sampaio in the 80th minute of play forced OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cacá Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the game, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Caco de Lima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Célio Machado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 92nd minute Amauri Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cacá Breckenfeld dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Amauri Sampaio came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Capivara FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amauri Sampaio couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Capivara FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
