Rafael Toscano hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After 7 played minutes Quiroga F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alan de Senna. Quiroga F.C.'s Valdemar Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Lago in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Vitório Lago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdemar Lima was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Valdemar Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 24th minute, Júlio Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guto Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durvalino Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes of play, Aguinhas's Arlindo Ortiz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdemar Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! Quiroga F.C.'s Luizão Souto got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute Vitório Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Arlindo Ortiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdemar Lima. Quiroga F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arlindo Ortiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Arlindo Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Quiroga F.C.'s Durvalino Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardo Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guto Martins having to interfere. Valdemar Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitório Lago in the 60th minute of the match. Vitório Lago took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdemar Lima. Valdemar Lima dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 69th minute, Cléberson Leme made a precise shot to the right of Valdemar Lima. Quiroga F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arlindo Ortiz got free with Valdemar Lima in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the game, Vitório Lago recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valdemar Lima. Vitório Lago showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. With a little luck, Quiroga F.C.'s Valdemar Lima got control of the ball when Cléberson Leme tried to sneak it across the goal line. Durvalino Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Tiago Gabriel Arósio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valdemar Lima. The goal made the score 0-9. A collision led to Aguinhas getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Arlindo Ortiz hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Aguinhas eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
