The audience thought a goal was coming when Gildo das Neves got free with Flavinho Arantes in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo das Neves in the 20th minute of play forced In-Crivel EC's goalkeeper Flavinho Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Templários MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germano Loyola to maneuver through the defense. Luizinho Vaz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Gustavo Eger having to make a save. In the 30th minute, Jânio de Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavinho Arantes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 32nd match minute, In-Crivel EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Célio Paes to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, In-Crivel EC's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Loyola came free, but Flavinho Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Templários MZC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Denílson Sampaio hit a great ball. In the 41st match minute, In-Crivel EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Flavinho Arantes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marquinhos Vianna.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Célio Paes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Templários MZC's Marquinhos Vianna got a free kick in the 50th minute. Luiz Gustavo Eger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Aparecido in the 52nd minute. 56 minutes into the game, Marcos Aparecido recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luiz Gustavo Eger. Marcos Aparecido showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. A collision led to In-Crivel EC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Emílio Ramalho hit a great ball. In the 60th minute of the match Marquinhos Vianna shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavinho Arantes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Frank Soeiro hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The supporters of Templários MZC booed when In-Crivel EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Eduardo Vergílio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Marquinhos Vianna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Templários MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marquinhos Vianna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavinho Arantes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute, Germano Loyola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Kleber Anderson fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored In-Crivel EC's protests and gave Kleber Anderson a yellow card for diving instead. Kleber Anderson kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Flavinho Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romário Nóbrega in the 81st minute of the match. After 82 minutes, Emílio Ramalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the In-Crivel EC and the Templários MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, In-Crivel EC's Emílio Ramalho got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Luiz Gustavo Eger made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Marcos Aparecido sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the match, In-Crivel EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gildo das Neves came free, but Flavinho Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Templários MZC had played much better football throughout.
