The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Fernando Corrêa to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to União Agrícola Barbarense getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Fernandão de Lima hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Montevideo were the better team. Montevideo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
