Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Osmar Rosario kicked off to start the match. If Osmar Rosario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Naldo Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osmar Rosario in the 3rd minute of play. Osmar Rosario hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Osmar Rosario might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Naldo Mello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osmar Rosario ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osmar Rosario in the 13th minute of play forced Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper Naldo Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Teodoro Arantes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wambalamba FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ROSÁRIO SPORT the free kick. In the 15th minute, one of Wambalamba FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wambalamba FC. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for ROSÁRIO SPORT. Osmar Rosario stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Naldo Mello. 0-1. In the 24th match minute, ROSÁRIO SPORT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fellipe Loyola to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Gabriel Fernandez made in the 26th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ROSÁRIO SPORT's Marcus Mesquita. The corner led ROSÁRIO SPORT's Marcus Mesquita to fire away a dangerous shot which Naldo Mello despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dinei Goiano took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Mineiro. Thiago Mineiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 40 minutes into the game, ROSÁRIO SPORT's Osmar Rosario nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Naldo Mello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Osmar Rosario might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Naldo Mello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osmar Rosario ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dinei Goiano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Osmar Rosario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Osmar Rosario scored 1-4 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Naldo Mello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Osmar Rosario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dida Catarinense might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Naldo Mello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dida Catarinense ran back to his position shaking his head. Tiago Gabriel Fernandez made in the 68th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Adhemar da Fonseca however managed to control. Naldo Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fellipe Loyola in the 70th minute of play. With a little luck, Wambalamba FC's Naldo Mello got control of the ball when Dida Catarinense tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dida Catarinense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 75 minutes, Dida Catarinense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ROSÁRIO SPORT and the Wambalamba FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ROSÁRIO SPORT's Dida Catarinense got a free kick in the 75th minute. ROSÁRIO SPORT made a substitution. João Carlos Oliveira replaced João Paulo Bueno. Dida Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, Wambalamba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamílton Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. Osmar Rosario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Dida Catarinense recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Naldo Mello. Dida Catarinense showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Naldo Mello made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Osmar Rosario sent off a good shot on target. The ROSÁRIO SPORT supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ROSÁRIO SPORT would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
