With splendid footwork Joel Rezende arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-1 by the left pole in the game's 21st minute. In the 26th minute Wesley Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamílton Rezende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jardel Mula in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Andrézinho Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wesley Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Lucas having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Wesley Teles made the kick off in the second half. Edvaldo Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. October 04's Toni Ramos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Coice de Mula. Pedro Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wesley Teles's late challenge caught a Coice de Mula's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wesley Teles helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, Wesley Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the October 04 defense, Joel Rezende kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hamílton Rezende. The October 04 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hamílton Rezende should have stopped the shot. Andrézinho Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Lucas having to interfere. Wanderson da Mata's late challenge caught a October 04's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wanderson da Mata helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Coice de Mula's Wanderson da Mata got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
