When Tiago Gabriel Fernandez fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wambalamba FC's protests and gave Tiago Gabriel Fernandez a yellow card for diving instead. Tiago Gabriel Fernandez hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Coice de Mula's Joel Rezende shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 3rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Naldo Mello but with some difficulty. In the 4th match minute, Wambalamba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Couto to maneuver through the defense. Naldo Mello made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Joel Rezende sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Hamílton Campidelis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wambalamba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamílton Campidelis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Lucas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Coice de Mula defense, Dinei Goiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Lucas. The Coice de Mula fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Lucas should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper Naldo Mello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haroldo Pires. Naldo Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Mula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Coice de Mula's goal looked a bit too open when Dinei Goiano came free, but Pedro Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinei Goiano scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Lucas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Dinei Goiano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Lucas. Coice de Mula's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dinei Goiano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Joel Rezende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The wind increased when Dinei Goiano made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Joel Rezende put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Naldo Mello. 58 minutes into the game, Adhemar da Fonseca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Pedro Lucas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 61st minute, Dinei Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute of the match Pedro Paulo Pombal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Naldo Mello skillfully saved the ball. The referee ignored Coice de Mula's protests and gave Pedro Paulo Pombal a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Wambalamba FC booed when Coice de Mula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Paulo Pombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wambalamba FC's Dinei Goiano got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 74 played minutes Coice de Mula got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Pires. In the 76th minute Hamílton Campidelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Joel Rezende ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Naldo Mello was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4.
