Zé Roberto Bittencourt came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Wiliam Palmeira. But to his dismay, Wiliam Palmeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Válbson Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th match minute, SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Sanches to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Dimitri Payet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Roberto Bittencourt. SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimitri Payet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Luiz Fábio Velasco in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabien Barthez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fabien Barthez made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Luiz Fábio Velasco sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo Pirani in the 42nd minute of play forced ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's goalkeeper Fabien Barthez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Víktor Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dimitri Payet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lúcio Rodrigues hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Antunes in the 57th minute of play forced ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's goalkeeper Fabien Barthez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabien Barthez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Pirani in the 69th minute of the match. SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcelinho Antunes in the 96th minute. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C. had held the ball for most of the match.
