Thiago Mineiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Fábio Leme went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Lúcio Domingues made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Osmar Rosario sent off a good shot on target. Osmar Rosario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lúcio Domingues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Osmar Rosario scored 2-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lúcio Domingues, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lúcio Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dida Catarinense in the 28th minute of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Osmar Rosario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Lúcio Domingues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lúcio Domingues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osmar Rosario in the 34th minute. A nice corner shot did that Dida Catarinense got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lúcio Domingues quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 47th minute Benjamim Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Mineiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osmar Rosario was the one to do the kick off. Benjamim Negri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Thiago Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fábio Leme took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Mineiro. Thiago Mineiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 62nd minute, Deivid Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lúcio Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osmar Rosario in the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalkeeper Thiago Mineiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamim Negri. Osmar Rosario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lúcio Domingues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. When Osmar Rosario came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the ROSÁRIO SPORT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osmar Rosario couldn't finish the play. ROSÁRIO SPORT made a substitution.
