The supporters of Agua Santa booed when Coice de Mula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cipriano Pinho came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Agua Santa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Pinho couldn't finish the play. Pedro Luiz Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Thibault Mamardashvili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Viana in the 15th minute of play. Thibault Mamardashvili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 29 minutes Coice de Mula's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Téo Tróia who took care of the corner kick. Lúcio Viana took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thibault Mamardashvili. Thibault Mamardashvili dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 33rd minute Lúcio Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibault Mamardashvili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Coice de Mula's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Pinho came free, but Thibault Mamardashvili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thibault Mamardashvili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 47th match minute, Coice de Mula was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Rezende to maneuver through the defense. Thibault Mamardashvili acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 65th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Téo Tróia. After having played for 68 minutes, Nico Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agua Santa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nico Quintal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th match minute, Coice de Mula was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvaldo Soares to maneuver through the defense. Thibault Mamardashvili made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Pinho in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Nico Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agua Santa's supporters rose to their feet, but Nico Quintal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thibault Mamardashvili breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 82 minutes of play, Agua Santa's Pedro Luís Arantes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thibault Mamardashvili was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Nico Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Coice de Mula's Thibault Mamardashvili proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Coice de Mula from getting a goal against them. In the 97th minute Cipriano Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibault Mamardashvili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agua Santa's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
