In the 5th minute, Fellipe Loyola made a precise shot to the right of Davi Couto. October 04's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osmar Rosario in the 14th minute of play forced October 04's goalkeeper Davi Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Toni Ramos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thiago Mineiro. That made the score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. Osmar Rosario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Dida Catarinense put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Davi Couto. A collision led to ROSÁRIO SPORT getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Rômulo Carioca hit a great ball. Toni Ramos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Thiago Mineiro. ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, ROSÁRIO SPORT's Marcus Mesquita got a free kick in the 40th minute. The audience was convinced that Osmar Rosario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Davi Couto was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After the first half ROSÁRIO SPORT were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wesley Teles made a kick off. A collision led to ROSÁRIO SPORT getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Dida Catarinense hit a great ball. Thiago Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Teles in the 57th minute of play. When Duarte Barbosa fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored October 04's protests and gave Duarte Barbosa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to October 04 getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Duarte Barbosa hit a great ball. ROSÁRIO SPORT's João Paulo Bueno managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Andrézinho Mandrak in the 64 minute of the game. Osmar Rosario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. October 04's Davi Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmar Rosario in the 72nd minute of play. ROSÁRIO SPORT's João Carlos Oliveira was substituted for João Paulo Bueno. After taking down the ball on ROSÁRIO SPORT's corner Marcus Mesquita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Davi Couto quite easily take care of the ball. October 04's Davi Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dida Catarinense in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Antunes in the 79th minute of play forced ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalkeeper Thiago Mineiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When ROSÁRIO SPORT's Osmar Rosario, in the 82nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for ROSÁRIO SPORT. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Teles in the 84th minute of play forced ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalkeeper Thiago Mineiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Teles in the 92nd minute of the match. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by October 04's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcus Mesquita was slow to take the kick. During this time ROSÁRIO SPORT's players had a chance to rest. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ROSÁRIO SPORT had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
