In the 7th minute Sílvio Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertinho Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albertinho Netto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sílvio Alagoano's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Albertinho Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Alagoano in the 12th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Conrado Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nas Horas Vagas F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Ceresso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jarbas de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Albertinho Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th match minute, Nas Horas Vagas F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Gustavo Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's Claudinho Loyola broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Sidney Favoretto might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Saldanha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sidney Favoretto ran back to his position shaking his head. 26 minutes into the match, Nas Horas Vagas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Alagoano came free, but Albertinho Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha got control of the ball when Conrado Camargo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Albertinho Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael da Rocha in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Nas Horas Vagas F.C booed when Squadra Demarchi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sidney Favoretto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute Sandro Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertinho Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albertinho Netto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael da Rocha went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Nas Horas Vagas F.C getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Elder Moreno hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Claudinho Loyola sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albertinho Netto skillfully saved the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's goal looked a bit too open when Sidney Favoretto came free, but Oscar Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael da Rocha in the 48th minute of play forced Nas Horas Vagas F.C's goalkeeper Albertinho Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After a rather tough play, Squadra Demarchi's Ciro Castro got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute Conrado Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albertinho Netto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kléber Queirós in the 57th minute. Rafael da Rocha hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Squadra Demarchi's zone, Conrado Camargo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Saldanha came out of the goal and Conrado Camargo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Squadra Demarchi defense, Luís Gustavo Pimenta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Saldanha. The Squadra Demarchi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Saldanha should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kléber Queirós got free with Albertinho Netto in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the match, Nas Horas Vagas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Alagoano came free, but Albertinho Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 minutes, Kléber Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Squadra Demarchi and the Nas Horas Vagas F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Squadra Demarchi getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Kléber Queirós hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Squadra Demarchi's Kléber Queirós ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Albertinho Netto. Albertinho Netto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 84th minute Rafael da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertinho Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Rafael da Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Albertinho Netto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sílvio Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Albertinho Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Elivélton Souto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Albertinho Netto. The goal made the score 1-5.
