Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Carrossel Caipira's Evandro de Castro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Antônio Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cambotinha EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antônio Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evandro de Castros short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Ernesto Montenegro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Cambotinha EC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Carrossel Caipira:s goal. With a little luck, Cambotinha EC's Ernesto Montenegro got control of the ball when Zé Pedro Pinheiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute Antônio Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilberto Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fiori Coutinho in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Norberto Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto Montenegro was a little too slow when Tostão da Fonseca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-1. After 37 played minutes Cambotinha EC got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Donatello. The referee felt a red card was in order, 43 minutes into the game, when Olívio Sanches put in a rough tackle. In the 42nd minute, one of Carrossel Caipira:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carrossel Caipira.

The wind increased when Nicolas Alvarenga made the kick off in the second half. Fiori Coutinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Gilberto Rossi made a huge save. Ernesto Montenegro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evandro de Castro's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Carrossel Caipira's goalkeeper Gilberto Rossi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fiori Coutinho. 59 minutes into the match, Carrossel Caipira's goalkeeper Gilberto Rossi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fiori Coutinho. Cambotinha EC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
