Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hernani Quirino took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Carrossel Caipira's goalkeeper Edinho da Rocha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Eduardo Jacinto. In the 5th match minute, Carrossel Caipira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulão Veiga to maneuver through the defense. After 7 played minutes Aurora FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Gustavo Dracena. In the 8th minute, Wesley Mangueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dedé Dante was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, Hernani Quirino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aurora FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carrossel Caipira the free kick. Hernani Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wesley Mangueira in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dedé Dante saved Aurora FC from getting behind. In the 19th minute, Dudu Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Carrossel Caipira's goalkeeper Edinho da Rocha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Eduardo Jacinto. 21 minutes into the game, Carlos Eduardo Jacinto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edinho da Rocha. Carlos Eduardo Jacinto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 24 minutes into the game, Patrick Sena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Dedé Dante was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Mangueira in the 27th minute of play forced Aurora FC's goalkeeper Dedé Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dedé Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Queiroz in the 28th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Eduardo Jacinto got free with Edinho da Rocha in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dino Urbano took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dedé Dante. Dedé Dante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. When Carrossel Caipira's Wesley Mangueira in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aurora FC's goalie prevented a goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wesley Mangueira was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Carrossel Caipira's Dudu Queiroz got a free kick in the 53rd minute. When Andrézinho Rossi fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aurora FC's protests and gave Andrézinho Rossi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Aurora FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Andrézinho Rossi hit a great ball. Aurora FC's Dedé Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Sena in the 55th minute of play. Murilo Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Patrick Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrossel Caipira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrick Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60thth minute of the game Wesley Mangueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aurora FC's Dedé Dante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Carlos Eduardo Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aurora FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Eduardo Jacinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edinho da Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Aurora FC defense, Wesley Mangueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dedé Dante. The Aurora FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dedé Dante should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Mangueira in the 71st minute of play forced Aurora FC's goalkeeper Dedé Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Aurora FC's Dedé Dante got control of the ball when Wesley Mangueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Eduardo Jacinto scored 2-4 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edinho da Rocha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 79 minutes into the game, Wesley Mangueira lined in a short shot 2-5 behind a frustrated Dedé Dante. Wesley Mangueira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Dedé Dante when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dedé Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Queiroz in the 88th minute of the match. In the 91st minute of the match Carrossel Caipira got a corner. Aurora FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wesley Mangueira ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Aurora FC's goalie and right to Dudu Queiroz. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Aurora FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Dedé Dante made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Paulão Veiga sent off a good shot on target. Edinho da Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Carrossel Caipira walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
