In the 5th minute Sandrinho Donatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, AFC - Curitiba's Arnaldo Lopes got control of the ball when Fiori Coutinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luiz Gustavo Braga made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Gustavo Braga in the 51st minute of play forced Cambotinha EC's goalkeeper Ernesto Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Donatello in the 54th minute of play forced AFC - Curitiba's goalkeeper Arnaldo Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Cambotinha EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Antônio Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the game, AFC - Curitiba's Allan Furlan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Luiz Gustavo Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cambotinha EC's Ernesto Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Gustavo Braga in the 80th minute of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of AFC - Curitiba were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Cambotinha EC side.
