Vágner Sergipano started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Belo Academy getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Adhemar Munhoz hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the game, Leandro Luz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Augusto Eger. Leandro Luz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Sergipano in the 17th minute of play forced CA Portugália's goalkeeper Álvaro Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubens Félix scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Álvaro Zanette, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, CA Portugália's Christiano Alves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. With a little luck, Belo Academy's Carlos Augusto Eger got control of the ball when Sidney Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafael Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Pedrão Saldanha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Augusto Eger came out and tried to block the shot, but Pedrão Saldanha slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 30th minute. In the 33rd match minute, Belo Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanni Linhares to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute Pedrão Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Augusto Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Belo Academy getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Carlos Alberto Leal hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Christiano Alves reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carlos Augusto Eger. The goal made the score 4-1. Carlos Augusto Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiano Alves in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

Carlos Augusto Eger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 52 minutes into the match, CA Portugália's goalkeeper Álvaro Zanette had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geovanni Linhares. 53 minutes into the match, Vágner Sergipano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Álvaro Zanette, 4-2. Vágner Sergipano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Álvaro Zanette having to make a save. Felippe Guerra charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felippe Guerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Belo Academy's Felippe Guerra got a free kick in the 71st minute. Vágner Sergipano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-3 in the 83rd playminute. Angelo Senna was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, one of CA Portugália:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CA Portugália. Carlos Augusto Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidney Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
