Miguel Dantas started the match with the kick off. Lenílson de Castro hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After 6 played minutes A.A. Francana got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Sarmento. After 10 minutes, Vítor Xavier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SALIMEN and the A.A. Francana players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SALIMEN's Vítor Xavier got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 13 played minutes A.A. Francana got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Lago. A collision led to A.A. Francana getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Wilton Romero hit a great ball. In the 20th match minute, A.A. Francana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armandinho Vergílio to maneuver through the defense. The A.A. Francana fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when A.A. Francana's Arnaldo Ramos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, SALIMEN's Lenílson de Castro got a free kick in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, A.A. Francana's José Vítor Carvalho got a free kick in the 30th minute. Aníbal Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Trigo having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armandinho Vergílio to strike the kick off in the second half. Ademar Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Ramos in the 52nd minute of the match. After 54 minutes SALIMEN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serginho Alagoano who took care of the corner kick. The corner led A.A. Francana's Serginho Alagoano to fire away a dangerous shot which Ademar Guerra despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of SALIMEN booed when A.A. Francana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilton Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 minutes, Ernesto Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SALIMEN and the A.A. Francana players grew even worse after the yellow card. 58 minutes into the match, SALIMEN's goalkeeper Ademar Guerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armandinho Vergílio. 67 minutes into the match, SALIMEN's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Ramos came free, but Ademar Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Telmo Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Branco in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Ernesto Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, A.A. Francana's Alexandre Sarmento got a free kick in the 77th minute. SALIMEN's Ademar Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Ramos in the 80th minute of play. Arnaldo Ramoss short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Ademar Guerra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dráuzio Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Telmo Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Arnaldo Ramos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ademar Guerra came out and tried to block the shot, but Arnaldo Ramos slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 97th minute. A.A. Francana's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
