Armandinho Vergílio started the match with the kick off. Waldir Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilton Romero in the 44th minute of play. Waldir Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Ramos's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Waldir Moraes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilton Romero went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Délio Valadares to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, A.A. Francana's Serginho Alagoano got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Jucazinho SC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilton Romero came free, but Waldir Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldir Moraes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evandro Lago in the 59th minute. Waldir Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Lago in the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Evandro Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 75 in the game by Armandinho Vergílio from a close distance when the talented Waldir Moraes managed to make a qualified save. Jucazinho SC's players were relieved. Jucazinho SC's Waldir Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilton Romero in the 76th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as A.A. Francana's Wilton Romero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Waldir Moraes. That made the score 0-8 after 79 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Wilton Romero took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Waldir Moraes to make any attempt to save it. In the 87th minute, A.A. Francana's Arnaldo Ramos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. In the 91st minute, A.A. Francana's Luiz Eduardo Rodrigues ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Waldir Moraes. Waldir Moraes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. Jucazinho SC's Waldir Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Jucazinho SC from getting a goal against them. In the 97th match minute, A.A. Francana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over A.A. Francana could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jucazinho SC throughout the match.
