Cláudio Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovani Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diamante Negro DK - VV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pratigipe EC the free kick. Pratigipe EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Oscar Ortiz scored to the left of an out of position Cláudio Soares, making the score, 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Celso Dantas made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Ortiz in the 53rd minute of play forced Pratigipe EC's goalkeeper Cláudio Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cláudio Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olívio Castro in the 71st minute of the match. Cláudio Soares came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Diamante Negro DK - VV's Geovani Leal. But to his dismay, Geovani Leal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Evandro Mandrak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th match minute, Diamante Negro DK - VV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomé Prestes to maneuver through the defense. When Davi Luis fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diamante Negro DK - VV's protests and gave Davi Luis a yellow card for diving instead. Davi Luis kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Ulysses Arantes struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Caco Mattos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pratigipe EC. In the 85th minute, Geovani Leal made a precise shot to the right of Cláudio Soares. Pratigipe EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Ortiz in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cláudio Soares saved Pratigipe EC from getting behind. In the 91st match minute, Pratigipe EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the match, Oscar Ortiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cláudio Soares. Pratigipe EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oscar Ortiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. Diamante Negro DK - VV's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
