Beto Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Ramos in the 2nd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Beto Valle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armandinho Vergílio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilton Romero in the 8th minute of play forced Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Beto Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. César Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Trigo having to interfere. Vladimir Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Beto Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilton Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Evandro Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandrinho Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Trigo having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Leon Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Wágner Mazza. 28 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's César Ferreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Telmo Trigo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Wilton Romero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Beto Valle. The goal made the score 2-0. After 40 played minutes A.A. Francana got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Rodrigues. Leon Sport Club's Beto Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Leon Sport Club from getting a goal against them. Evandro Lago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Beto Valle made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armandinho Vergílio to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, César Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leon Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but César Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Telmo Trigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hamílton do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Telmo Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beto Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Lago in the 64th minute of the match. A collision led to Leon Sport Club getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Vladimir Tróia hit a great ball. Beto Valle came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by A.A. Francana's Armandinho Vergílio. But to his dismay, Armandinho Vergílio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Beto Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilton Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 minutes, Cássio Viana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.A. Francana and the Leon Sport Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st minute, Cássio Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandrinho Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 85 played minutes Leon Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Wágner Mazza. After 87 minutes of play, A.A. Francana's Armandinho Vergílio made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beto Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Beto Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilton Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A.A. Francana's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
