Ademar Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. A collision led to SALIMEN getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Gustavo Souza hit a great ball. When Lucas Botelho came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Belotaurus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Botelho couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the match, SALIMEN's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson de Brito came free, but Ademar Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Botelho hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Teodoro Eger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Brasil showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 26th minute of the match, Miguel Dantas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gustavo Brasil was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 28 played minutes Belotaurus FC got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson de Brito. Teodoro Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodoro Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Belotaurus FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Brasil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Dantas. SALIMEN's Miguel Dantas was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 41st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Belotaurus FC were furious when Chiquinho Linares was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Belotaurus FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SALIMEN:s goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

63 minutes into the match, SALIMEN's goalkeeper Ademar Guerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enéas Cunha. Enéas Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Ademar Guerra made a huge save. In the 67th minute of the game, Lucas Botelho landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Miguel Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When Edmílson de Brito fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belotaurus FC's protests and gave Edmílson de Brito a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SALIMEN booed when Belotaurus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmílson de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the game, José Vítor Alcântara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SALIMEN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belotaurus FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, SALIMEN's José Vítor Alcântara got a free kick in the 75th minute. Paulo Renato Arantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ademar Guerra made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Enéas Cunha sent off a good shot on target. Enéas Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademar Guerra having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Enéas Cunha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ademar Guerra. The goal made the score 2-1. There was no doubt that SALIMEN were the better team. SALIMEN's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
