He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ique Football Club reached it. In the 35th minute Christiano Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Sibold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Sibold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiano Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Real Soccer FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Kaká Miranda hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Real Soccer FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christiano Matos came free, but Robert Sibold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 minutes, Christiano Matos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ique Football Club and the Real Soccer FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Ique Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano Matos to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christiano Matos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aníbal Matos was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ique Football Club's Nilmar Barral was substituted for Armandinho de Barros. Thanks to some nice moves Christiano Matos could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Robert Sibold however easily saved by the left post. If Joélson de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Real Soccer FC's goalkeeper Robert Sibold had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christiano Matos. Joélson de Andrade took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robert Sibold. Robert Sibold dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Real Soccer FC's zone, Christiano Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Sibold came out of the goal and Christiano Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ique Football Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
