Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mateus Ferreira started the match with the kick off. Hélio Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mexilhão F. C.'s Carlos Campidelis got a free kick in the 11th minute. Carlos Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gustavo Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Allan Loyola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelinho Matorin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in SinháCity FC's zone, João Francisco Mota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Barral came out of the goal and João Francisco Mota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edu Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hélio Guerra charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hélio Guerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, Hélio Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute Edu Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan Loyola's late challenge caught a Mexilhão F. C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Allan Loyola helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, SinháCity FC's Gustavo Barral got control of the ball when Edu Siqueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 41 played minutes SinháCity FC got a freekick which was hit by Allan Loyola. Nando Baptista hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Gustavo Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Siqueira in the 43rd minute of the match. Gustavo Barral made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Olívio Maranhense sent off a good shot on target. Gustavo Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half SinháCity FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Campidelis made a kick off. Edu Siqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Gustavo Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Allan Loyola hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Mexilhão F. C.'s Marcelinho Matorin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Mexilhão F. C. from getting a goal against them. When Allan Loyola was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. In the 65th minute, Allan Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Edu Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes Mexilhão F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Tavares. João Francisco Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Olívio Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexilhão F. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Olívio Maranhense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Barral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SinháCity FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
