João Francisco Domingues charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Francisco Domingues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Dorian Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Giuseppe Guerra fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C. Corinthians Paulista's protests and gave Giuseppe Guerra a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes S.C. Corinthians Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Giuseppe Guerra. 40 minutes into the match, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Matos came free, but Luiz Fernando Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Adalberto Veloso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robert Sibold made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Luiz Fernando Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the match, Alexandre Mendes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Fernando Figueiredo. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandre Mendes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.

S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Luiz Fernando Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Matos in the 59th minute of play. Matías de Moraes charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matías de Moraes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to S.C. Corinthians Paulista getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Matías de Moraes hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Diego da Cunha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robert Sibold was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Veloso in the 72nd minute of play forced Real Soccer FC's goalkeeper Robert Sibold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aníbal Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Real Soccer FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego da Cunha came free, but Robert Sibold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. S.C. Corinthians Paulista fully deserved thier win.
