Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Aníbal Matos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Marcelinho Matorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Olívio Maranhense got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cesare Maldini charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesare Maldini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cesare Maldini kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Marcelinho Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Mendes in the 14th minute of play. Sidnei Britto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Marcelinho Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mexilhão F. C. getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Edu Siqueira hit a great ball. The supporters of Mexilhão F. C. booed when Real Soccer FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidnei Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Sibold came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexilhão F. C.'s Edu Siqueira. But to his dismay, Edu Siqueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 40 minutes into the game, Gualter Albuquerque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexilhão F. C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Soccer FC the free kick. Aníbal Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelinho Matorin having to interfere. Emerson Tavares charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emerson Tavares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd minute, Emerson Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Francisco Mota stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcelinho Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Matos in the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Mexilhão F. C. getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. José Paulo Costa hit a great ball. In the 60th match minute, Mexilhão F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualter Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense. Mexilhão F. C.'s Marcelinho Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidnei Britto in the 75th minute of play. Mexilhão F. C.'s Emerson Tavares suffered a concussion in the 84th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Sidnei Britto fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Soccer FC's protests and gave Sidnei Britto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Real Soccer FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Sidnei Britto hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Real Soccer FC defense, João Francisco Mota kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robert Sibold. The Real Soccer FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert Sibold should have stopped the shot. Robert Sibold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Francisco Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
