Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Luís Eduardo Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Leonardo Mineiro in 7 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Laércio Eger guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Luís Eduardo Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The Pecém fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Pecém's Simão Valle looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 15 played minutes Pecém got a freekick which was hit by Washington Cabral. Laércio Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Mineiro in the 17th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Leonardo Mineiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laércio Eger. Pecém's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Mineiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Leonardo Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Laércio Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Leonardo Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Leonardo Mineiro notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Pecém's Laércio Eger. Laércio Eger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute, Valdir Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laércio Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Mineiro in the 43rd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Valdir Tavares made the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Leonardo Mineiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ and the Pecém players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leonardo Mineiro hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 59th match minute, Pecém was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Valle to maneuver through the defense. Tales Maranhense charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tales Maranhense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Tales Maranhense got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Teodoro Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Doriva de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Carioca in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Teodoro Carioca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doriva de Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 92 minutes into the game, Leonardo Mineiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Laércio Eger. Leonardo Mineiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. In the 95th minute, Maurinho Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
