Basílio Cosme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 7 minutes of play, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Songurbey Şahsuvar made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basílio Cosme was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 10th minute, Songurbey Şahsuvar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basílio Cosme was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 14 minutes into the game, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Songurbey Şahsuvar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basílio Cosme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The Nova Erechim - FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Songurbey Şahsuvar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Basílio Cosme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Songurbey Şahsuvar's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Songurbey Şahsuvar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Nova Erechim - FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Guilherme Peres looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Basílio Cosme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Songurbey Şahsuvar, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Edin Džeko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Songurbey Şahsuvar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basílio Cosme was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Basílio Cosme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Peres in the 39th minute of the match. Basílio Cosme came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Guilherme Peres. But to his dismay, Guilherme Peres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-10.
When Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Songurbey Şahsuvar in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pirajiba's goalie prevented a goal. 53 minutes into the game, Edin Džeko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Basílio Cosme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Songurbey Şahsuvar scored 0-12 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basílio Cosme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manfredo Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manfredo Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st match minute, Pirajiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfredo Silva to maneuver through the defense. Guilherme Peres took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Basílio Cosme. Pirajiba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 63 minutes, Songurbey Şahsuvar made it 0-13 with a short kick to the right side. Pirajiba's Basílio Cosme tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Guilherme Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Guilherme Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basílio Cosme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the game, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Songurbey Şahsuvar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basílio Cosme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-14. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 0-15 when Edin Džeko sped through Pirajiba's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Basílio Cosme. In the 81st minute, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Edin Džeko dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-16. Pirajiba's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Songurbey Şahsuvar scored to the left of an out of position Basílio Cosme, making the score, 0-17. When Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Edin Džeko in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pirajiba's goalie prevented a goal. Basílio Cosme came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Guilherme Peres. But to his dismay, Guilherme Peres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-18. After some careless play in the Pirajiba defense, Edin Džeko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basílio Cosme. The Pirajiba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basílio Cosme should have stopped the shot.
