Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Valdir Tavares started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Luís Henrique's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Laércio Eger skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The América-SC F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when América-SC F.C.'s Luís Henrique looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nando Simão's late challenge caught a América-SC F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nando Simão helped the player get up and apologised. Laércio Eger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Henrique went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Luís Henrique could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Laércio Eger made a huge save. In the 14th minute Valdir Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Luís Henrique recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Laércio Eger. Luís Henrique showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdir Tavares in the 20th minute of play forced América-SC F.C.'s goalkeeper Gaston Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juvenal Seco's late challenge caught a Pecém's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juvenal Seco helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes, Pecém's Benjamim Pernambucano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gaston Roderigo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pecém reached it. Pecém's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Paulo Antunes scored to the left of an out of position Laércio Eger, making the score, 4-0. In the 34th minute, Paulo Antunes made a precise shot to the right of Laércio Eger. Pecém's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 42nd minute, Luís Henrique made a precise shot to the right of Laércio Eger. Pecém's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Valdir Tavares scored 6-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaston Roderigo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-1.

The wind increased when Luís Henrique made the kick off in the second half. Laércio Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Antunes in the 57th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Luís Henrique notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Pecém's Laércio Eger. Laércio Eger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gaston Roderigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir Tavares in the 76th minute of the match. The supporters of América-SC F.C. booed when Pecém was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Carioca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Henrique recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Luís Henrique notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Pecém's Laércio Eger. Laércio Eger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gaston Roderigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 90th play minutes Luís Henrique shot 9-1, a short shot which went by Laércio Eger and just under the crossbar into goal. With an all-out effort, Pecém's Gaston Roderigo threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Valdir Tavares, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 96th minute José Pedro de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. América-SC F.C. had played much better football throughout.
