After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Célio Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mota 2017's supporters rose to their feet, but Célio Meira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrinho Severo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the match, Célio Meira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedrinho Severo. Zandarin FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Célio Meira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Pedrinho Severo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Célio Meira in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Célio Leme notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Mota 2017's Gonçalo Guimarães. Gonçalo Guimarães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 27 minutes, Raí Félix mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mota 2017 and the Zandarin FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Zandarin FC booed when Mota 2017 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raí Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enéas Mangueira charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enéas Mangueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Zandarin FC's Enéas Mangueira got a free kick in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Zandarin FC's zone, Victor Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedrinho Severo came out of the goal and Victor Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute, Célio Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Nogueira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gonçalo Guimarães. Mota 2017's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 35 played minutes Mota 2017 got a freekick which was hit by Raí Félix. Victor Montenegro took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedrinho Severo. Pedrinho Severo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The audience was convinced that Victor Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedrinho Severo was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Pedrinho Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cícero Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 77 minutes Zandarin FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomé Corrêa who took care of the corner kick. Mota 2017's Tomé Corrêa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedrinho Severo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gonçalo Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Leme in the 79th minute of the match. Mota 2017's Victor Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Zandarin FC's Dorival da Costa got a free kick in the 89th minute. Cícero Rodrigues took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedrinho Severo. Pedrinho Severo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. In the 94th minute, Cícero Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Zandarin FC's Ernani Brito slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gonçalo Guimarães. That made the score 4-3 after 95 minutes of play.
