In the 6th minute, São José City - FSCMZ's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Célio Meira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Mota 2017 getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Célio Meira hit a great ball. Célio Meira took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hélder Severo. Hélder Severo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The supporters of São José City - FSCMZ booed when Mota 2017 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Célio Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mota 2017 were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after São José City - FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Célio Meira took the corner. Mota 2017's Durvalino Zonta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hélder Severo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 28 minutes into the match, Mota 2017's goal looked a bit too open when Nelsinho Cunha came free, but Gonçalo Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. São José City - FSCMZ's Hélder Severo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save São José City - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. When %teams%'s Victor Montenegro was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 3-0 just inside the left pole, 36 minutes into the game. Hélder Severo was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Victor Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Hélder Severo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mota 2017. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roger Costa made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nelsinho Cunha in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonçalo Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 55th minute, Célio Meira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mota 2017 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Victor Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Hélder Severo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mota 2017's zone, Nelsinho Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonçalo Guimarães came out of the goal and Nelsinho Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the match, Victor Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hélder Severo. São José City - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Tomé Corrêa hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Gonçalo Guimarães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roger Costa in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Reginaldo Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mota 2017's supporters rose to their feet, but Reginaldo Arantes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder Severo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hélder Severo came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Mota 2017's Célio Meira. But to his dismay, Célio Meira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 88th minute Victor Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Severo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mota 2017's Célio Meira got a free kick in the 88th minute. A collision led to Mota 2017 getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Durvalino Zonta hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Luiz Paulo Leão sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gonçalo Guimarães skillfully saved the ball. The Mota 2017 support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
