Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Célio Leme took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Walmir Schmidt took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Hélder Severo to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to São José City - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Dito Xavier hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in São José City - FSCMZ's zone, Dorival da Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Severo came out of the goal and Dorival da Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Costa in the 15th minute of play forced Zandarin FC's goalkeeper Pedrinho Severo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. São José City - FSCMZ's Hélder Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Leme in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Zandarin FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Célio Leme hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorival da Costa during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zandarin FC's Dorival da Costa got a free kick in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciro Toledo in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedrinho Severo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zandarin FC's Pedrinho Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Costa in the 37th minute of play. Nelsinho Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedrinho Severo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nelsinho Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st minute Nelsinho Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Severo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roger Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 53 played minutes Zandarin FC got a freekick which was hit by Gugu Sousa. If Célio Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, São José City - FSCMZ's Ciro Toledo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedrinho Severo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Nelsinho Cunha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedrinho Severo. Nelsinho Cunha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Zandarin FC's zone, Luiz Paulo Leão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedrinho Severo came out of the goal and Luiz Paulo Leão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Célio Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Hélder Severo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Zandarin FC's Gugu Sousa got a free kick in the 90th minute. Luiz Paulo Leão took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedrinho Severo. Zandarin FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zandarin FC's Reynaldo Carioca quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Silvinho Pernambucano, made in the 93rd minute of the game. When the match was over São José City - FSCMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Zandarin FC throughout the match.
