After 2 played minutes BANDOLEIROS osasco got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Goiano. When Cauan Arce came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Joinville United - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cauan Arce couldn't finish the play. José Pereira hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Reinaldo Barral got a free kick in the 9th minute. The supporters of BANDOLEIROS osasco booed when Joinville United - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luan de Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldo Queirós struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Wilson Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BANDOLEIROS osasco. When Víktor Costa fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BANDOLEIROS osasco's protests and gave Víktor Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Guilherme Abud seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Guilherme Abud the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Joinville United - FSCMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Guilherme Abud had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 34th minute, one of Joinville United - FSCMZ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Joinville United - FSCMZ. Joinville United - FSCMZ:s Wilson Amaral showed great skill when he stopped Osvaldo Queirós:s penalty. In the 36th minute, Osvaldo Queirós ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 42nd minute José Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Joinville United - FSCMZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BANDOLEIROS osasco were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Fernando Botelho was the one to do the kick off. Wilson Amaral was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but José Pereira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 59 minute of play.
