Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Locomotiva grena's Hugo Dantas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Locomotiva grena getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Fabiano Albuquerque hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Clemente Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Murilo Paiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Hugo Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Paiva having to interfere. Fabiano Albuquerque took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Murilo Paiva. Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 34 minutes Locomotiva grena's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Caco Rosa who took care of the corner kick. In the 37th match minute, Curiphila Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rômulo Pires to maneuver through the defense. After 38 played minutes, Locomotiva grena's Fabiano Albuquerque shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Murilo Paiva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Locomotiva grena reached it. After a rather tough play, Locomotiva grena's Hamílton Matos got a free kick in the 44th minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Caco Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curiphila Eagles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caco Rosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giovani Paulista came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Curiphila Eagles's Donato Prestes. But to his dismay, Donato Prestes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donato Prestes to strike the kick off in the second half. When Alfredão Trevisan came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Locomotiva grena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredão Trevisan couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Locomotiva grena getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Hamílton Matos hit a great ball. Curiphila Eagles's Caco Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper Murilo Paiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Dantas. Locomotiva grena's Giovani Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Prestes in the 73rd minute of play. With a little luck, Curiphila Eagles's Murilo Paiva got control of the ball when Clemente Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. Murilo Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Andrade in the 81st minute of play. During the 84th minute of the match Rômulo Pires completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rômulo Pires a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 84th match minute, Curiphila Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rômulo Pires to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Murilo Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Murilo Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredão Trevisan in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Andrade in the 90th minute of play forced Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper Murilo Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naldo Costa's late challenge caught a Locomotiva grena's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Naldo Costa helped the player get up and apologised. Naldo Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Prestes in the 93rd minute of play forced Locomotiva grena's goalkeeper Giovani Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Cacá de Almeida had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giovani Paulista. Locomotiva grena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cacá de Almeida was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
