Egídio Sampaio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Canarinho Atordoado's Egídio Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Matos in the 6th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Claudinei Carioca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Egídio Sampaio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Egídio Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diguinho Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Baltazar Novaes charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltazar Novaes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Egídio Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Carioca in the 19th minute of the match. Canarinho Atordoado's Egídio Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nando de Alcântara in the 20th minute of play. With 21 minutes on the clock, Jeremias Zanette commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Canarinho Atordoado fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Jeremias de Mendonça hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When Nando de Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Catugi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nando de Alcântara couldn't finish the play. Sven-Edvin Skräddare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otávio Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio Matos hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Diogo Dionísio notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Catugi FC's Sven-Edvin Skräddare. Sven-Edvin Skräddare was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Canarinho Atordoado getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jeremias de Mendonça hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nando de Alcântara was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Canarinho Atordoado getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Guga Pernambucano hit a great ball. Egídio Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nando de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Nando de Alcântara took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Egídio Sampaio to make any attempt to save it. Leonel Varela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Canarinho Atordoado's Diogo Dionísio got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Vicente Neiva got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Leonel Varela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Egídio Sampaio made a huge save. After 75 played minutes Canarinho Atordoado got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias de Mendonça. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nando de Alcântara in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egídio Sampaio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rd minute, Jeremias de Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute Nando de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egídio Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egídio Sampaio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonel Varela in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Nando de Alcântara dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Egídio Sampaio, 1-6. 94 minutes into the game, Leonel Varela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Catugi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canarinho Atordoado the free kick. Leonel Varela hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Catugi FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
