In the 7th minute, George Pavard reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabinho Arruda. The goal made the score 1-0. Cafu de Moraes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fabinho Arruda firmly grabbed it by the left post. But to his dismay, Zé Roberto Veloso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 17 minutes into the game, Three Lions FC's George Pavard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabinho Arruda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Zé Roberto Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to Three Lions FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Bernardo Leal hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Zé Roberto Veloso made a precise shot to the right of Dênis de Castro. Three Lions FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 35th minute, Cafu de Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cafu de Moraes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Fabinho Arruda made a huge save. Fabiano Silveira, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dênis de Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Roberto Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Waldir Souza was the one to do the kick off. Fabinho Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. When Zé Roberto Veloso fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s protests and gave Zé Roberto Veloso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Zé Roberto Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Tarrasque Voador F.C. getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ernani Custódio hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Three Lions FC's Cafu de Moraes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabinho Arruda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cafu de Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Cafu de Moraes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabinho Arruda was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Cafu de Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Three Lions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cafu de Moraes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabinho Arruda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Zé Roberto Veloso got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dênis de Castro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Roberto Veloso in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Roberto Veloso came free, but Dênis de Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
