An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo de Barros in the 28th minute of play forced Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goalkeeper Fabinho Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabinho Arruda came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Locomotiva grena's Haroldo de Barros. But to his dismay, Haroldo de Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Giovani Paulista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Márcio Barral went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmílson Silva in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giovani Paulista saved Locomotiva grena from getting behind. Hamílton Matos hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. A collision led to Locomotiva grena getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Geovani Coutinho hit a great ball. Giovani Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Souza in the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Locomotiva grena's goalkeeper Giovani Paulista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Roberto Veloso. Zé Roberto Veloso struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Giovani Paulista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tarrasque Voador F.C.. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Dantas was the one to do the kick off. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
