Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gabriel Poveda started the match with the kick off. Leopoldo Toscano hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Fabiano Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Augusto Sena in the 8th minute of the match. Remedios SC's Jean dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Eger in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Remedios SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Poveda came free, but Jean dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Lúcio Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Christian Hester hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jean dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 30th minute Valdir Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Danilo Pinho was the one to do the kick off. Fabiano Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Augusto Sena in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Remedios SC were awarded a corner. Aloísio Bastos went to the cornerflag to take it. André Luiz Pinheiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Jean dos Santos made a huge save. Gabriel Poveda took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean dos Santos. Jean dos Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 66 minutes into the game, Lúcio Eger recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jean dos Santos. Lúcio Eger showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. AVAÍ F.C.'s Augusto Penha got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Remedios SC's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Eger came free, but Jean dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Hester charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Hester the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christian Hester got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Válter Fantini hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The nice shot from Gabriel Poveda in the 79thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Jean dos Santos had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Jean dos Santos was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Gabriel Poveda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gabriel Poveda really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Jean dos Santos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 88th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. 92 minutes into the match, AVAÍ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Pinho came free, but Fabiano Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Aloísio Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AVAÍ F.C.'s Leopoldo Toscano shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 95th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jean dos Santos but with some difficulty. Jean dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir Prata in the 97th minute of the match. AVAÍ F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
