The crowd rose to their feet as Fernandinho Loureiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zé Pedro de Queirós. That made the score 2-1 in the 22 minute of play. In the 33rd minute Guto Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the America Futebol Clube SP defense, Silas Marinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Pedro de Queirós. The America Futebol Clube SP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Pedro de Queirós should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, America Futebol Clube SP's Zé Pedro de Queirós got control of the ball when Silas Marinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fernandinho Loureiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Pedro de Queirós was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nilton Sanches stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Fernandinho Loureiro sped through America Futebol Clube SP's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zé Pedro de Queirós. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernandinho Loureiro in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Pedro de Queirós saved America Futebol Clube SP from getting behind. After 60 minutes, Fernandinho Loureiro made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. America Futebol Clube SP's Zé Pedro de Queirós tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 63 minutes, Silas Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scarlet Speedster's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silas Marinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eurico Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilton Sanches in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto de Souza in the 68th minute of play forced Scarlet Speedster's goalkeeper Eurico Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Nilton Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute of the match America Futebol Clube SP got a corner. Scarlet Speedster's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Renatinho de Castro ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Renatinho de Castro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eurico Diniz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Fernandinho Loureiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Pedro de Queirós was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernandinho Loureiro in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Pedro de Queirós prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, America Futebol Clube SP's Fausto de Souza got a free kick in the 80th minute. Fernandinho Loureiro struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Zé Pedro de Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scarlet Speedster. The attack was good, but when Fernandinho Loureiro in the 90th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Zé Pedro de Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernandinho Loureiro went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Fernandinho Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scarlet Speedster's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernandinho Loureiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Pedro de Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Scarlet Speedster had won after a very even match.
